The Ashley Marie Easterbrook Scholarship was created in honor of Ashley Easterbrook, a girl who died five days before her high school graduation. Ashley was killed by a drunk driver, and since her death, her parents have made an effort to educate others about the dangers of drunk driving and the importance of living life to the fullest. There is only one of these awards issued every year, and it is given to the student that Ashley’s parents feel best exemplify what it means to be a good academic. Easterbrook Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
In order to apply for the Ashley Marie Easterbrook Scholarship, you must be a high school student graduating the same year you apply. You must have a cumulative, unweighted GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 over the course of four years, and you must have plans to enroll in a four year degree program after you graduate. You will be required to fill out a short application and collect a letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator, or counselor.
